With the clothes barely held by threads, this was one of the most provocative collections by Casey Cadwallader. An actual masterclass in cutouts; the silhouettes were sharp, sculptural and strategic. Clean corsets, strong-shouldered cropped blazers, ombre leggings, huge hoop earrings and strappy dresses were some highlights here. The illusion element in each look was a testament to the immaculate tailoring and craftsmanship of the Mugler team. Featuring the likes of Bella Hadid, Dominique Jackson, Adut Akech, Lourdes Leon, Eartheater, Amber Valetta, Shalom Harlow & Chloë Sevigny this collection had some major star power. The Cadwallader aesthetic gradually gets impactful and memorable, a right step towards the new age Mugler he is building. Mugler is getting sexier by the minute.
