Seductive bikinis, sheer pleated tops, boxy jackets and ruffled dresses were some standouts. Pearls were everywhere, delicately scattered on messy buns, suit buttons, precisely lined on the model’s back; the details were excruciatingly divine. Textures and fabrics looked like items from the ocean from soft sequins to iridescent ribbons. A jewel from the Lagerfeld era that lives rent-free in the minds of Chanel fanatics.
