The collection opens with a grey wool oversized suit with a huge pom-pom (the size of the model’s head) worn as a headpiece. There were everyday knits, funky workwear, trompe l’oeil suits, lux fur coats and some Rykiel must-haves. The collection does feature some delicate and gorgeous knit moments. The styling in this collection is questionable and completely in the 2000s style. I have never seen the series but it is giving gossip girl.
Adding to the chirpy girly energy were fur handbags and pretty brooches and of course the pom-pom headbands. Most of the looks worn with white leggings give it a schoolgirl feel, a sharp contrast to some of the more mature tailored pieces. A mostly restrained color palette with pops of red and blue here and there along with some classic multi-color striped looks. Even though looks were fitted to the models there was a constant sense of comfort and effortlessness. The show ended with a fury of models running jumping and dancing on the Runway wearing feathered outfits in all shades of nude. Well, it was quite fun.
