Valentino: As much as I love Pierpaolo’s Haute Couture his RTW just never lives up to the mark. I read somewhere it looks more like H&M and sadly I agree, the shoes and bags are a clear attempt to push sales and it just might work. Overall a pretty bleak collection but a bright pink oversized shirt has been added to my list.

Emilio Pucci: The styling in this show was something, not good but something random . An A for effort but no results. The sheer looks were kind of nice and rounded of with some Pucci prints.

Salvatore Ferragamo: Some looks in the collection are absolutely wonderful and some really nice bags. Of course no collection is perfect but Ferragamo didn’t disappoint. Maty Fall in a beautiful orange skirt-crop top was all I needed.

Moschino: Okay so this show was the cutest and I’m not even talking about the clothes. The whole puppet show with fashion week first row filled just a pleasing vibe to it. Coming to the collection it had some really nice looks, very elegant and princess-ish. The concept undermined the clothes though there were a few nice looks.

Versace: I think in total I liked 3 looks this season which is a step up from Donatella’s previous shows. The last good show we saw was SS18 which was only because it was a tribute show for Gianni Versace. The starfish print was kinda cute but overdone but the bags were atrocious. Some stunning bold colors and interesting materials for sure

Alberta Ferretti: This one was quite painful to look at, Ferretti’s FW20 was one of my favourite collections of recent times but what happened here. It was quite messy and looked like an attempt to desperately lure in the younger clientele.

Etro: A surprisingly decent collection with some pleasant looks, a summery, slinky and Italian. A generic way to describe it would be a beachy Versace, which makes sense in a way. My love for oversized shirts and cute tiny shorts was deeply gratified by the last 13 looks. This just might be one of the best collection by the brand.

JW Anderson: JW Anderson is killing Pandemic fashion week, quite an interesting presentation. With exaggerated silhouettes and breezy warm colors rounded off with modest drama this collection was perfect to make me dream of my post pandemic wardrobe.

Marni: It had some nice pieces but I guess that’s about it, a bit underwhelming. The collection had some amazing prints and a strong color palette. The coats were a definite highlight and will end up my pinterest boards for sure.

Max Mara: Can’t believe I’m saying this but Max Mara wasn’t a complete snooze fest this time, not that it was particularly good but better than bad. In my mind Max Mara is the Brandon Maxwell of the MFW, I hope that gives a bit clarity on my thoughts but I did like it this time.

Annakiki: One of my favourite shows this season, with some interesting pieces and a vibrant color palette. Loved the silhouettes, cuts and the matrix glasses. The fabrics looked intresting and the vibe was future meets streatwear done with elegance? Idk. I loved it.

Fendi: Fendi was Heaven. This was without doubt one of my favourite Fendi shows, a beautiful set of colors and exquisite fabrics and silhouettes. This was so relaxing and homely to watch, with printed shadows and table cover inspired bag covers it was all just so quirky in the most subtle way possible.

Prada: A greatly awaited show, the first collection by the partnership of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons. An interesting collection it was with strong symbols from both Mrs. Prada and Simons. Even with some dreamy looks this was just satisfactory. Did it surpass my enormous expectations? No. But that’s probably on me so its chill. And controversial opinion I loved the huge Prada logos on the chest.
