Though I’m not the biggest Versace fan, this collection is pretty special. This collection marked the 20th anniversary of the tragic death of Gianni Versace, This was Donatella’s best collection since then, mainly because it was a revisit of Gianni’s iconic looks. She did celebrate him in the most beautiful way possible. She might not be my favorite creative director but she is a brilliant businesswoman. The show was a beauty, all Versace’s most memorable looks and moments. The show ended with the 5 original supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, and Helena Christensen in gold dresses. Donatella recreated the looks wonderfully and is definitely a favorite Versace show for times to come.

The show starts off with classic yellow and black print followed by some strongly tailored black looks paired with embellishments and brilliant boots. All the looks were in different fabrics leather denim and more. More signature Versace baroque trend followed in forms of dresses skirts pants coats and everything you can imagine. Then followed the similar print and lighter shades and came the pastel looks. as much as Versace is known for its bold and bright it has done some beautiful work with pastels. Then followed the pop art looks in abstract colors each look recreating many iconic runway moments. Then followed the famous butterfly bathrobe look, pastel velvet dresses, and bright monochrome suits. The show was closed by the 5 supermodels walking hand in hand wearing gold chainmail dresses along with Donatella Versace.
