Modern, clean, and cool, this is how the brand describes itself and I agree. Galvan is my current obsession. Made up of gorgeous clothes, it certainly stands out. When I first discovered the brand I assumed it was a 50-year-old heritage brand that I didn’t know so I was amazed to find that it was founded in 2014. This reflects its strong vision and its surety of it.

There are many ‘modern’ eveningwear brands from all over the world out there today, like Rasario from Russia, Alex Perry from Australia, Sally Lapointe from New York. Whereas Galvan does provide us with the minimalism we want or even need especially in this often over cluttered eveningwear segment of the industry. The difference is when you look at any look by Galvan there is always something a little extra to it, in the most subtle way of course. Be it a kind of fabric, sequins, a style of cutouts among many details. Being minimal is easy, Being maximal is easy but finding the right balance between both is quite difficult. Galvan does it wonderfully. To give some perspective it seems like a lovechild of Jil Sander and Halpren.

With clean cuts, creative colors, and luxe fabrics, Galvan certainly matches up in all possible ways. Galvan comes from the word Galvanise which evokes energy, excitement, and empowerment; it does certainly do that. The new extension to the brand Bridal wear is exquisite. It is made for a modern, simple and fabulous bride. With each season the collections get strong and Galvan seems to be moving towards a promising fantastic run.
