RICHARD QUINN: A classic Quinn collection, absolutely wonderful. The colors, the prints and beautiful chiffon looks. The favorites were obviously the heavy pearl looks with ‘God save the Quin’ embroidered on the back. The flower printed looks and the flowy chiffon outfits were beautiful. The yellow floral print was fabulous and the black leather looks with a spiked mask was one of the best looks of the season.
MOLLY GODDARD: Molly Goddard is slowly making her way, I sure liked this collection. There was this beautiful yellow tulle dress that I am for real ready to die for. there was a bright red dress too, absolutely stunning. Her pieces were a bit for commercial this season but done beautifully. The floral looks were pretty though the hats with bows were a little off.
MATTY BOVAN: Matty Bovan was crazy in a good way for sure. This collection I don’t know why but it screamed ‘ London’ to me. I did like a lot of pieces in the show but no particular look really stuck with me.
RICHARD MALONE: Richard Malone is slowly becoming one of my favorites designers ever. This color palette, silhouettes, fabrics, and textures everything is so futuristic if that’s the right word but it still feels very grounded and earthly. This was the only collection I was truly looking forward to.
VIVIENNE WESTWOOD: So this show had some real hot looks, I mean the day Westwood starts to disappoint, I’ll give up fashion. kind of loved a lot of looks this season. There was this dusty blue velvet quilted trench which I fell in love with. There dresses, the trenches, the super high heels. Overall loved it
VICTORIA BECKHAM: Victoria Beckham is one of the most underrated brands I feel. Her clothes truly are beautiful and for today’s woman. This collection was so clean and elegant. I loved the boots, the trenches, and the pleated skirts. The belts were genius and can we wore by legit anyone. She truly does design for a woman( a rich one perhaps).
CHRISTOPHER KANE: Kane has some marvelous looks is FW2020. The looks were extremely sexy and classy. beautiful colors, textures, and prints, there were a few looks in black and brown which were definite favorites, and if someone can make black and brown look good together then its a keeper.
JW ANDERSON: Absolutely stunning, the oversized huge trenches, unusual, silhouettes, and the beautiful cellophane. One of the best for sure. the checked suits with cellophane on the shoulders were beautiful, the sweater dresses, and the black suits.
ERDEM: Beautiful looks, I would have definitely liked more floral looks but it good. the black sheer embroidered looks were wonderfully done, the neon quilted trench was super fun. the silver and the metallic looks could have sued a bit more work I guess but overall not bad but certainly better is expected from Erdem.
SIMONE ROCHA: The initial white looks were simply breathtaking. The collection was lovely. It has some beautiful floral print, colors and some unusual but beautiful parings. The few final looks reminded me of Givenchy god knows why. A good FW overall.
CHALAYAN: Absolutely marvelous collection by Chalayan. The red dresses were stunning. though I’m, not 100% sure of the black and white printed looks they were good. The brown suits were beautifully done and the classic Chalayan all-black looks were so wonderful, so modern and strong. All in all, loved it.
BURBERRY: Burberry was beautiful. My favorite collection definitely this season.it had 100 looks, which is just too much for me though I do feel Riccardo Tisci has had a major improvement since SS 2020. It certainly provided a lot of options for its customer which will work well commercially. The trenches were obviously wonderful, though the final fancy looks were a little off. He has got to work on this eveningwear looks, he does rough and utilitarian looks like no one else. I didn’t really not like any look, a pretty good collection.
