The Fashion Department teaches fashion design over four years. The three core subjects are fashion design, graphics, and tailoring and pattern design, alongside the history of dress and textile forecasting.
Each year, students make a bigger collection, counted in “silhouettes” (complete outfits):
- 1st Bachelor: core studio subjects and experimental assignments.
- 2nd Bachelor: recreating a historical costume from before 1940, then a five-silhouette collection. Seminars cover shoemaking, millinery and glove-making.
- 3rd Bachelor: an eight-silhouette collection based on the study of a culture.
- Master’s: a final collection of at least 12 silhouettes, with workshops led by fashion professionals.
