What is it?

HKDI was set up in 2007 to bring together design courses that used to be spread across several VTC campuses. In 2010 it moved into its own purpose-built campus in Tseung Kwan O.

It teaches four areas of design: architecture, interior and product design; communication design; digital media; and fashion and image design.

Fashion students can take a Higher Diploma, and there are also bachelor’s degrees in fashion, run by SHAPE, another VTC school.
